As we are a registered charity and receive no government funding, the only way our voluntary Lowland Rescue team can continue to operate is with the help and support of generous organisations and members of the public. Although our team members pay for their own clothing, fuel and personal equipment, we rely on sponsorship and donations to keep our Incident Control Vehicle running, to pay for essential team equipment, software and consumables, and to provide vital training.
Can you help?
Maybe your organisation could sponsor us or make a donation to help purchase important items for our team. As a relatively new team, there’s still lots of things we need to acquire to help us work effectively, as well as items we need on an ongoing basis to keep the team running. Alternatively, maybe you could provide relevant products and services to our team, such as printing, paper supplies, outdoor kit, venues for meetings and training (classrooms, gymnasia, farm or common land, etc.), technical support, media services, etc. We’re also looking for a secure permanent base for storing our equipment and Incident Control Unit (our van) and to hold regular training sessions. If you think you can help in any way, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call us on 01926 530858 and leave a message. We would love to chat with you.
